Bergamo Traditional Food Tour

Bergamo is the split-into-two town: Bergamo Alta (‘the high Bergamo”) and Bergamo Bassa (“the low town”), joined by the historic cable car.

Within the heart of the beautiful Bergamo Alta, we selected the best preparations, capable of presenting in one dish the food culture of area of Bergamo: from the farmers’ traditional meals, to the richly presented meats, to the gelato ‘stracciatella’, which was first created in Bergamo indeed.

Escorted by our local Foodie, you will discover a secret itinerary enclosed within the walls of the Città Alta, created following strong flavours and delicate scents, starting from the origins of the Lombard tradition and taking us to the contemporary Bergamo food scene that we know today.
