Savona Traditional Food Tour
Savona is a seaport and a municipality in the Liguria Region. It is a cruise embarkation point and provides access to beautiful coastal territory.

Walking through the narrow streets of the historical center of Savona, we will find out together the oldest eateries, with their delicious and traditional dishes, enriched by delicately-flavored extra-virgin olive oil (typical from this side of Liguria).

This dining experience incorporates five traditional dishes served in different eateries. We will be starting with an entrée, and ending with a typical Italian dessert or a delicious ice-cream.

You will taste some of the following specialties in our Savona Food Tour (according to products availability):

Panissa: a crispy crust, made with chickpea flour. Excellent fried and served with traditional white bread.

Farinata: a delicious chickpea pancake cooked in a flaming oven. The best one is soft in the center with a lighty crisp coating. Characteristic of the city of Savona is the white variety, with wheat flour. You will have the chance to taste both of them!

Pasta with pesto: the authentic recipe of classic basil Pesto sauce, made of local fresh basil and pine nuts!

Fresh Ligurian Fish: the best "Fritto Misto" in town! Highly recommended!

Classic Focaccia: the original typical from Genoa with local extra-virgin olive oil.

The tour will take place in Savona city center. You will taste the best traditional dishes in town.

This is a social dining experience: people from all over the world sharing food and stories, enjoying a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Therefore, we have a 2-people minimum and a 10-people maximum. If the minimum number of guests is not reached, we will contact you to reschedule to another time or day.
